Mark's Story
Life
Went into the Service in 1977. Joined the Marine Corp. Seen the world.
Worked in retail in Dubuque from 1980 till sometime in 1983.
Moved to Phoenix in June of 1983 and I now call Phoenix my second home.
Dubuque will always be my first.
Worked several jobs till 1992. From making Waterbed furniture for Big Sur to Fire restoration for Servpro.
Was hired at Intel in 1994. Just got back from my Sabbatical of 10 weeks off with pay.
Never married, no kids.
Bought a house in 1996 in Mesa Az. So it in 2005 made some money on ...Expand for more
it like everyone else here in Arizona. So I down sized, and I wish I would have done it earlier. Not as much to take care of and gives me more fun in the Sun!
I get back to Dubuque at least once a year. Spend 2 weeks visiting friend and family. But try to make the visits when it's NOT so cold, because anything below 60 is cold now!
Plan on making the trip back for the 30th Reunion if enough people decide to show.
Military
I joined in April of 77, 6 year hitch. 3 active 3 inactive. Loved it I just wish I would have stayed in.
